Personal Training
What is Personal Training?
Personal Training is one-on-one instruction that incorporates goal setting and health education into a variety of exercises and challenging workouts especially designed for each individual's specific needs. Working one-on-one with a client, a Personal Trainer assesses their lifestyle and level of physical fitness before helping them to work towards personal fitness goals through proper exercise instruction and motivation.
Many different kinds of people who wish to learn how to reach their own personal fitness goals use Personal Trainers. Our Personal Trainer's oldest client was 83.
Here are some examples of personal goals:
• Lose Weight
• General Conditioning
• Improve body shape
• Gain muscle tone or size
• Improve Flexibility
• Train towards a specific sport
• Improve core strength
• Align postural imbalances
• Continue with an existing program
What to expect from your Personal Trainer
Our highly qualified and experienced personal trainer will provide you with a consultation, after you have completed our short health questionnaire, to examine your personal fitness requirements before designing fun, level-appropriate programs that deliver results fast. After the initial consultation you will receive an hour's one-on-one Personal Training specific to your needs and you will be shown some great exercises and techniques that will be able to help you incorporate exercise into your daily life as part of your ongoing program and new active lifestyle.
If you would like to book more than one session with our Personal Trainer please let us know and the following sessions will be provided at a reduced rate. Likewise, if you have a friend you would like to train with and the 2 of you have similar fitness goals, it is possible to combine the sessions and make it cheaper for you both, just let us know in advance.
Our dedicated Personal Trainer is adaptable and very experienced and will design the Personal Training around your needs - to benefit you. Personal Training can take the form of many different exercises (e.g. Cardiovascular, Pilates, Body Toning, Boxercise etc) and workouts (e.g. Aerobics, Sport Specific, Boot Camp, Running/Jogging sessions etc) that depend entirely on your own personal goals and what you and your Personal Trainer both feel you will benefit most from.
Before embarking on any exercise regime full-time it is recommended that you consult your doctor.
