Nutritional Therapy
What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional therapy is about understanding how the type and amount of food we eat affects how well our body functions and performs. Many people don't realise that they've been operating at a sub-optimum level for many years until they begin to address the cornerstone of health - nutrition.
Our nutritional therapist can help to identify the optimum nutrition for your body. This can help you to reach your body's true potential, allowing it to be the best it can be, in terms of energy, mood, brain power, physical performance, wellness, prevention from ailments and maximising life expectancy. The body is highly complex and, given the correct raw natural materials, it has a huge capacity to heal and repair itself and fend off illness and disease.
Nutritional Therapy is a valuable tool in learning to understand your body's individual needs.
What to expect
Our qualified and experienced therapist will work with you to design individually tailored dietary programmes in order to tackle your specific requirements. Looking at how your body functions as a whole allows her to make connections between what you eat, how you live, your family and medical history and other factors that have influenced your health. Together you will discover practical and realistic diet and lifestyle changes to implement at the right pace for you, providing you with a tailored nutritional programme meeting your individual needs, personal tastes and budget.
The first consultation normally lasts for about an hour, with any follow up consultations lasting about 30 minutes. Our nutrition expert also provides telephone support and diagnostic testing is also available.
